GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTCS)

Last updated: January 25, 2026

1. IDENTITY AND SCOPE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between the company TRESSE PARIS (SAS with a capital of €10,000, RCS PARIS 888 518 255, registered office: 23bis avenue de la Motte-Picquet - 75007 PARIS) and any person making a purchase via the website www.tresseparis.com (hereinafter "the Customer").

Validating an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions. TRESSE PARIS is committed to making its best efforts to satisfy its clientele and ensure high-quality service.

2. PRODUCTS AND ADVICE (PLANT-BASED COLORING)

2.1. Presentation: We take the greatest care in the description and photographic representation of our products. However, these elements are presented for indicative purposes only.

2.2. Natural Specificity: Plant-based coloring is an art that interacts with the living matter of your hair. Unlike standardized chemical dyes, the result is unique and depends on your hair history (pigmentation, porosity, previous treatments).

Note on color results:
Color charts and "Before/After" photos are indications of rendering. As every hair type reacts differently to plants, these visuals cannot constitute a contractual commitment to an exact result.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

3.1. Prices: Prices are displayed in Euros, including all taxes (TTC). Delivery contribution fees are indicated before the final validation of the order.

3.2. Accuracy: In the event of a manifest technical error displaying an incorrect or derisory price, the order may be cancelled to comply with regulations on selling at a loss, and the Customer will be fully refunded.

3.3. International (Non-EU): For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the Customer.

3.4. Payment: Payment is secure and made upon ordering (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.). Shipment is triggered after bank validation.

4. ORDER

The Customer places an order following the online process (Cart > Details > Payment). TRESSE PARIS reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of a proven payment difficulty.

Archiving: In accordance with the law, orders exceeding €120 are archived for 10 years and accessible upon request.

5. DELIVERY AND RECEIPT

5.1. Delivery Locations

Delivery is ensured to the address provided by the Customer.
Accessibility: To ensure proper receipt, we recommend avoiding addresses of public places (hotels, schools, campsites) where hand-delivery is difficult to ensure.
Standard Delivery: Delivery implies delivery to the building entrance or standard mailbox.

5.2. Timeframes (Preparation and Transport)

The global timeframe is twofold:

  • Preparation (Our commitment): Your package is prepared and handed over to the carrier by our teams (generally within 2 to 3 working days).
  • Transport (The carrier): This timeframe depends on the chosen provider (La Poste/Mondial Relay). Timeframes announced by these carriers are indicative (excluding weather events or peak periods).

In the event of a delay linked to the carrier, TRESSE PARIS will do what is necessary to assist the Customer in tracking. Only exceeding the legal limit of 30 days authorizes the cancellation of the order.

5.3. Procedure in case of non-receipt

If the tracking indicates "Delivered" but you have not received your package, or if it is stuck:

  • We invite you to contact our Customer Service quickly.
  • To allow us to open an official claim with the carrier and activate insurance, a copy of your ID and a sworn statement of non-receipt will be required.
  • Reshipment or refund will occur upon closure of the carrier investigation (average observed time of 15 to 21 days).

5.4. Unclaimed Package (Return to Sender)

In the case of delivery to a Pick-up Point or Post Office, the package remains available during the holding period (generally 10 to 14 days). If the package is not retrieved within this time, it is automatically returned to us.
In this hypothesis:

  • Refund: We will proceed with the refund of the order, minus the return fees charged by the carrier.
  • Reshipment: If the Customer wishes for a new delivery, shipping costs will be at their expense.

Clarification: This participation in return fees applies even if the initial shipping was free of charge.

5.5. Receipt of the package

We invite the Customer to check the apparent condition of the package upon delivery. If the packaging is damaged or open, it is recommended to refuse the package or issue clear reservations on the delivery note to facilitate subsequent procedures.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND HYGIENE

6.1. Legal Right: The Customer has a period of 14 days to change their mind. The return is at the Customer's expense.

6.2. HYGIENE EXCEPTION (COSMETICS): For obvious reasons of health protection and hygiene, and in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, cosmetic products (powders, creams, deodorants) cannot be returned if they have been opened, unsealed, or tested. Only sealed and intact products may be eligible for a refund.

7. SAFETY, HEALTH, AND RESULTS

7.1. Safety Protocol (Patch Test)

Our products are formulated with ingredients of natural origin. However, an individual allergy risk always exists.
MANDATORY RECOMMENDATION: For your safety, we ask you to perform a patch test (in the crook of the elbow) 48 hours before each application. TRESSE PARIS cannot be held responsible for a skin reaction if this standard precautionary protocol was not observed.

7.2. Application Advice (Strand Test)

THE STRAND TEST: Before applying color to the entire head of hair, it is essential to test the product on a hidden strand. This step validates compatibility with your hair and the color result.
In the absence of this prior validation by a strand test, TRESSE PARIS cannot accept claims related to an unwanted aesthetic result (color, highlights).

8. LEGAL WARRANTIES

8.1. Conservation of natural products (Powders):
Our dye powders are dry (anhydrous) products formulated for long conservation. To guarantee their efficacy over time and benefit from legal warranties, the Customer agrees to store them strictly away from humidity, direct light, and heat. Any alteration of the product (clumps, oxidation) resulting from improper storage after delivery cannot be considered a lack of conformity.

LEGAL INFORMATION (Mandatory reminder):

All our products benefit from the legal warranties in force. The consumer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Art. L.217-3 et seq. Consumer Code) for 2 years. They are exempted from proving the existence of the defect for 24 months. The consumer may also exercise the warranty against hidden defects (Art. 1641 Civil Code).

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The creative universe, the "TRESSE PARIS" brand, images, and texts on the Site are the exclusive property of the company. Any use or reproduction without authorization is prohibited.

10. PERSONAL DATA

Your data is precious and processed in strict compliance with the GDPR for the management of your orders. You have a permanent right of access and modification by contacting us at hello@tresseparis.com.

11. MEDIATION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, we will always prioritize dialogue to find an amicable solution.

In accordance with regulations, the Customer may use the mediation service free of charge:
