1. Preparing the Hair

Proper preparation ensures better results, but clarification is not mandatory. However, it can be helpful to remove silicone residue or chemical dyes and maximize the adhesion of plant pigments.

  • Clarification (optional): A clarifying shampoo or a clay mask 48 hours before coloring can improve results.
  • Avoid silicones: Do not use hair care products containing silicone at least one week before application.

2. Choosing the Application Method

Plant-based hair coloring can be applied using two methods:

  • One-step application: Ideal for blonde to dark brown hair and for natural coverage of gray hair.
  • Two-step application: Recommended for optimal gray hair coverage and achieving deep, intense dark shades.

For the one-step application, mix both sachets (base and color) in equal parts (50/50) for a single-step process.

3. Preparing the Coloring Paste

  • Powder-to-water ratio: Mix 3 parts hot water with 1 part powder to achieve a smooth paste.
  • Ideal temperature: At 60°C, use the provided thermometer to ensure the correct temperature.

4. Applying the Color

  • On clean, damp hair: Apply strand by strand, focusing on the roots.
  • Processing time:
    • One-step: 1 to 3 hours.
    • Two-step:
      • Step 1: 1 to 1.5 hours.
      • Step 2: 1 hour.

5. Rinsing and Fixing the Color

  • Rinsing: Use clear water without shampoo for 48 hours.
  • Natural oxidation: The color continues to develop and intensify in the following days.
