How do I choose my colour?
Tresse plant-based colour blends with your hair’s natural colour. It coats and protects the hair fibre. We recommend choosing the shade closest to your natural colour, or one tone above. Plant-based colour lets you intensify your base colour, add beautiful highlights or cover greys naturally, with no flat helmet-like effect. As it contains no chemicals, it cannot lighten hair. Plant-based colour blends into your hair like a colour-enhancing treatment.
What is the difference between plant-based colour and chemical colour?
Tresse plant-based colour sits on the surface of the hair and binds to its keratin, without opening the cuticle. Oxidation hair colour uses an alkaline agent to open the cuticle so the pigments can penetrate deep into the fibre. Used repeatedly, it can weaken the hair.
Can I switch from chemical colour to plant-based colour?
